Este miércoles 14 de octubre se llevó a cabo la entrega de premios Billboard. La ceremonia se realizó en el Dolby Theatre de Los Angeles, California. La anfitriona, de nueva cuenta y por tercera ocasión consecutiva, fue la primera ganadora del concurso American Idol, Kelly Clarkson que, a estas alturas, es toda una veterana en la música y quien también ha gozado de éxito con su programa de televisión, The Kelly Clarkson Show, que se encuentra en su segunda temporada.
La ceremonia Billboard estaba programa para el 29 de abril de 2020, pero pues… la pandemia. Las nominaciones se hicieron públicas el pasado 22 de septiembre, mientras que las votaciones de tres categorías otorgadas por el público se realizaron a través de Tik Tok (patrocinadores del evento), del 1 al 13 de octubre.

Entre los actos en vivo pudimos ver a BTS, Sia, Kane Brown, Khalid, Alicia Keys, Post Malone, John Legend, Demi Lovato, Brandi, En Vogue, Doja CAt, Garth Brooks y Luke Combs, entre otros. El premio al ícono fue entregado al cantante de country Garth Brooks.
El ganador de la noche fue el rapero canadiense Post Malone, quien se llevó un total de 9 premios, entre los que se cuentan Mejor Artista.
