Hace unas horas te reportamos aquí en Update, los resultados de la entrega de premios BAFTA a lo mejor del cine británico y mundial. Ahora es el turno de los Critics Choice Awards en su edición número 27, que fue transmitida desde Los Angeles y Londres.
La ceremonia se llevó a cabo el domingo 13 de marzo de 2022.
Además, este jueves 17 de marzo te daremos la lista de ganadores del segundo Critics Choice Super Awards, con lo más destacado en ciencia ficción, fantasía, superhéroes, acción y horror.

Estos premios fueron programados para repartirse el pasado 9 de enero, más la fecha coincidía con la de los Golden Globes.
Belfast y West Side Story contaron con 11 nominaciones cada una, así como The Power of the Dog y Dune con 10 cada una.
Los 6 directores nominados compitieron con sus respectivas películas en ambas categorías.
En la cuestión de televisión, Succession, de HBO, contó con 8 nominaciones. Mare of Easttwon y Evil, se anotaron 5 cada una.
Este año, Netflix fue la productora con más nominaciones, 24 para cine y 18 para televisión, para un total de 42.
En ambas premiaciones (BAFTA y Critics), Will Smith ganó como Mejor Actor.
Los directores Paul Thomas Anderson y Kenneth Branagh se enfrentaron en el departamento de Guion Original, mientras que Jane Campion y Denis Villeneuve (con dos coescritores), en guion adaptado (Branagh y Campion fueron los respectivos ganadores). Todos ellos se compitieron en la categoría de Mejor Director.
Jane Campion se adjudicó el premio a Mejor Directora, así como The Power of the Dog, a Mejor Película.
Licorice Pizza repitió en la terna a Mejor Comedia y Mejor Película (ganó a Mejor Comedia).
Los actores, Halle Berry y Billy Crystal fueron reconocidos por su trayectoria.
