Un año más y unos “Premios de la Gente” más. En los Premios People’s Choice 2024, los ganadores fueron anunciados este domingo 18 de febrero.
La ceremonia, en su edición 49, reconoció a lo mejor del cine, televisión, música y cultura pop, en 40 categorías y fueron seleccionados por medio de votaciones del público en general.
El evento se realizó en el Hangar Baker de Santa Monica, California, Estados Unidos. El anfitrión fue el actor canadiense, Simu Liu, conocido por interpretar a Shang-Chi, en el filme de Marvel Studios.

La película Barbie, contó con 8 nominaciones, mientras que Oppenheimer, con 6.
En cine, Barbie ganó 6 premios.
La serie de tv, Only Murders in the Building, tuvo 7 menciones, seguida de The Last of Us, The Morning Show y Ted Lasso, con 6 cada una.
Only Murders in the Building, The Last of Us, The Kardashians y Jimmy fallon, obtuvieron 2 reconocimientos cada uno.
Taylor Swift se anotó 4 triunfos, mientras que Olivia Rodrigo, 2.
Adam Sandler y Lenny Kravitz recibieron el reconocimiento Icon, por su trayectoria y aportación a sus respectivas industrias.
El actor Jeremy Renner recibió una larga ovación de pie al hacer su aparición para presentar el premio a mejor actuación televisiva. Renner sufrió un grave accidente a causa de una máquina para remover nieve, el 1 de enero de 2023.
El premio para Influencer Latino, fue otorgado a la argentina, Tefi Russo.
